I have completed my undergraduate program in Agriculture Science at Tribhuwan University. I am from the Nawalparasi district, which lies in the southern portion of Nepal. In my free time, I like to play and watch cricket, and I also like to draw and sketch. While drawing, I typically listen to some relaxing music.

Madara Edirisinghe, 2024
I came from Sri Lanka to work on research activities related to the agriculture field. I did my undergraduate studies in an agriculture field at the University of Jaffna in Sri Lanka. Before I came here, I worked as a research and development executive in a fertilizer manufacturing company in my country. My hometown is Chilaw which is a beautiful village situated near Sri Lanka's coastal area. In my leisure time, I am interested in doing Upcountry, Low Country, and Bharata Natyam dancing traditions as well as I love to play netball.

Nadeesha G Warnakula, 2024
I am a research scholar at the PREEC and an Environmental Science graduate from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. I was born in a village surrounded by breath-taking natural landscapes which inspired me to learn from nature as a child. Since then, I have been a passionate and enthusiastic learner about nature. I enjoy reading books on different disciplines of science and exploring natural ecosystems. One thing I enjoy doing every day is being alone while listening to a variety of songs from different genres. I also enjoy playing mind exercising games which keep my brain stimulated.

Sangam Bishwakarma, 2024
I am from Nepal, a small and very beautiful country that is rich in ecological and cultural diversity. Academically, I have achieved a B.S. in Agriculture and an M.S. in Soil Science from the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Tribhuvan University in Nepal. My interest lies in furthering my knowledge in soil science, especially in nutrient management, precision agriculture, organic matter, C and N dynamics, and related fields. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the beauty of nature, doing adventures, taking photos, listening to music and learning any new things that the situation offers. For me, life is a journey with ups and downs. I like to keep moving forward and try to enjoy the moments life offers.

Sudeep Sachinthaka, 2024
I'm Imaduwa Vithanage Sudeep Sachinthaka and I'm originally from Sri Lanka. In my home country, I live in the southern part of the country, which is close to the coastal area. I graduated from the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka with a BSc(Hons) in Agriculture Sciences and Management. I gained much experience and practical knowledge during my bachelor's degree program and then, I worked for Sabaragamuwa University as a Demonstrator for several months before joining this internship program in the Panhandle of Nebraska. I am very interested in working with nature. Music is my escape; I find it is therapeutic for stress. I am a fan of classical music and singing as well. I am also a fan of sports, especially rugby and cricket. I like to take challenges in my life, learn from them, and do much better the next time.

Bibash Rokaya, 2023
I was born in a rural hilly area of Nepal but grew up in Rajapur, a city in the state of Lumbini. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Agriculture Science from Tribhuwan University in 2017. After completing my B.S. degree, I have been involved in various positions related to agriculture science including research, instruction, extension and development. I began a remarkable journey as a research scholar at UNL, Panhandle Research, Extension and Education Center, in Scottsbluff, NE on May 10, 2023, under the supervision of Dr. Maharjan, aiming to advance my knowledge. I was responsible for ongoing tasks at Maharjan Soils Lab. Most importantly, I was the lead on conducting a lab experiment focused on quantifying the effects of different N fertilizer rates on potentially mineralizable N using an anaerobic incubation method.
